Task

Situation

They had proven the offer was scalable but needed the entire brand and user experience built from scratch.

SkinnyRx was launching as one of the first online providers in the emerging GLP-1 craze. When I joined, the company had ads that proved demand, but no actual infrastructure:

  • No prescription management system.
  • No customer portal.
  • No branding or digital presence.
  • No conversion-optimized funnels.

  • From top-of-funnel marketing (landing pages, advertorials, health quiz)
  • To backend systems (doctor/nurse/admin dashboards with permission layers)
  • To customer-facing app and portal (prescription management, refills, dashboards). Additionally, I was tasked with creating the branding, colors, packaging, and visual identity.

 I was responsible for architecting and designing the entire SkinnyRx product ecosystem:

  • Conversions increased through optimized onboarding flows and health quiz funnel.
  • Drop-off was reduced by creating a seamless intake-to-prescription pipeline.
  • Customer engagement rose through app/portal adoption.
  • Prescription management time was cut significantly with the backend system, enabling faster reviews and fulfillment.
  • Interactive Health Quiz → long-form intake designed to capture medical history and streamline doctor/nurse review.
  • Backend UI System → dashboards with role-based permissions (doctor, nurse, admin, super admin).
  • Customer App + Portal → user-friendly dashboard for prescription management, status updates, and account management.
  • Marketing Funnels → advertorials, listicles, product LPs, and sign-up flows optimized for conversions.
  • Branding & Packaging → logo, packaging systems, box/vial/bottle designs, and digital identity.
