Task

Situation

The challenge was clear: without original creative that built trust, showcased value, and drove up AOV, these stores couldn’t scale ad spend profitably.
  • Designing high-converting Shopify landing pages from scratch, often daily.
  • Creating custom product feature graphics to replace bland supplier assets.
  • Producing motion graphics and animations for ads and pages.
  • Designing upsell/downsell flows and checkout sequences that maximized order value.
  • Collaborating with developers to ensure designs translated into smooth, optimized user flows.

 As the Senior UX Designer, I was responsible for:

 Kollaborative Media owned and operated a portfolio of Shopify stores, many of which sold inexpensive products sourced from China. Like most dropship/e-com brands at the time, they struggled with generic supplier photos, copycat product pages, and uninspired landing pages that didn’t differentiate them from the dozens of identical offers flooding Amazon and Shopify.

  • Delivered consistently high-converting LPs that were so effective, they were frequently copied by competitors.
  • Enabled stores to scale ad spend profitably by boosting ROAS (better pages → stronger funnel performance).
  • Dramatically improved conversion rates compared to generic template pages.
  • Helped Kollaborative Media expand its portfolio of stores and grow revenue, with sales performance directly tied to the design system.
  • Personally gained deep marketing insight by building and testing LPs daily, sharpening the ability to align design with conversion psychology.
  • Built hundreds of full landing pages for products across wellness, gadgets, and lifestyle niches.
  • Created original feature graphics & hero visuals by cutting, compositing, and re-designing assets from manufacturer videos/photos — turning generic items into brand-ready products.
  • Developed LP tower systems: tall, scroll-based landing pages with strategically ordered sections (hero → social proof → features → upsell → CTA).
  • Designed motion graphics (e.g. Skinny Fit, Snoozy & Wakey tea) that increased engagement.
  • Implemented upsell/downsell checkout flows, encouraging higher AOV and maximizing each ad dollar spent.
